Rebecca was a May bride this year and her planner with Magnolia Events referred me to her. She reached out about setting up a hair and makeup trial and she was really sure about scheduling one because she's got curly hair and only had bad experiences in the past. So we met up earlier in the year, I tried my best to ease any of her concerns, and we got to working with her hair and makeup look. Working with curly hair is not hard at all just as long as you've got the education background with it. Curly hair takes different products, different styling techniques, and curly headed people know if you're the right fit or not pretty early on.
Products used:
Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless foundation in 3 neutral mixed with Mac strobe cream very very lightly on the face, also used same mixture under the eyes, Laura Mercier translucent powder to set, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Mac Peaches blush, Benefit Cookie highlighter, very light ColourPop brow pencil in Black Brown and brow gel, Kylie Iced Out highlighter on the lids, ABH Modern Renaissance palette on the eyes (light brown in crease and taupe on outer corners), dark brown shadow liner, Essence mascara, Ardell 110 lashes, and Morphe lip liner in Frenchie topped with Huda Beauty lipstick in Angel
And I curled her hair all over using a smaller curling wand.
And here's a small handful of some of the professional wedding images I got back from Rebecca.
