Gayla Thompson is the woman behind Babydoll Boudoir. She asked me about doing hair and makeup for one of her clients, Miss S, that was coming in to her studio back in early September for her first boudoir photo shoot. I was available that day, so I was thrilled to work with Gayla again! Miss S was pretty cool to get to know while in the beauty chair and I always love getting to know a small snippet about them.
These are a list of makeup products I used in case someone out there is curious about that kind of thing. Since Miss S had naturally curly hair, I didn't use any heat on it unless there were some unruly pieces hiding. I used mainly some oils and creams to tame some of that frizz. It's curls like these that make me jealous and wish I had it on my own head!
Products used:
Nars radiant longwear foundation in Barcelona, ColourPop pretty fresh concealer in Light45W mixed with a little leftover of the base, RCMA no color powder to set, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Georgia Peach, ABH x Amrezy highlight, Morphe brow pencil in Biscotti, Sydney Grace shadows on the eyes, no liner, random mascara, Kiss Couture lashes in Coven, and ColourPop lip liner in Bitchette topped with ColourPop luxe matte lipstick in Liquid Courage.
And while Miss S wanted to keep the majority of her images private, she did give permission for a couple of them. I'm only going to post one because I'm OBSESSED with it. Gayla has some serious skills behind the camera. She knows all the magic tricks to pull out for her clients and the atmosphere and lighting and all of it!
