Miss S came out to see Kristen almost a month ago for her very first boudoir photo shoot. She's a saint of a person and teaches kids for a living. My own mom is a teacher and I know how much of a God-send you have to be in order to have all the patience, love, and knowledge to be able to pass it down to a young mind. Anywho, Miss S booked the shoot as a gift for her spouse as his 50th birthday will be here really soon. Like what a bombshell of a present this will be for him, am I right?!
Below are a list of products that I used to get the fab makeup look for Miss S. She requested something "somewhat natural" but not so similar to her everyday makeup look either. And for hair, since she had shoulder length hair, I decided to curl it with a flat iron to be sure to keep as much length as possible. So it's more of a "bend" as opposed to a curl. I love love love curling hair like this.
Products used:
Nars radiant longwear foundation in Sahel, ColourPop pretty fresh concealer in Light45W, Laura Mercier translucent powder to set, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Georgia Peach and highlight in Mauve Moment, ColourPop brow pencil in Dope Taupe and Bangin' Brunette mixed, Sydney Grace shadows on the eyes, Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Demolition, mascara, Kiss no11 lashes, and ColourPop lip liner in Beeper topped with Morphe matte lipstick in Tempt.
I got the word today that Miss S did not want to sign a model release and that's 100% her call. In case you're new around here, Kristen asks her clients whether they want to release their images, meaning she can use them for marketing purposes, in sample albums, posting on social media, etc. But if the client wants to keep the images private, there's no pressure on our end either way, it's their decision. I did, however, get permission from Miss S to be able to post her "before-and-after" images that show off the hair and makeup.
ALSOOO -- I didn't see it in person, but now looking back at the images below, doesn't she kind of have a Martina McBride vibe?
