The Adore Girls brought in another super cool client, Miss N, back in early November for a boudoir photo shoot. If this is your first post reading of mine, they are a boudoir photography team based out of Smyrna. I am a freelance hair and makeup artist and whenever they need me to work a date, they'll ask and let them know if I'm free. They do have a more regular artist, but there's a list of us to reach out to with booked dates. I am normally there on Sundays and that's the day Miss N was in the studio. She was fun chatting with while we were getting ready and I found out that she booked the session as a reason to kind of challenge herself. Like stripping down to some naughty knickers to take some photos is such an empowering thing. I love this niche so freakin' much.
These are the makeup products I used for Miss N. And she already had her hair curled from the day before, so I just touched it up with a mini flat iron. I have short hairs like hers, not quite as long, and I'm pumped to be able to curl it like this once my hair grows more.
Products used:
Nars radiant longwear foundation in Macao and Igacauo custom mixed, ColourPop pretty fresh concealer in Dark175W, Laura Mercier translucent powder to set, Benefit Toasted bronzer, ColourPop blush in Glass Slipper, Sydney Grace highlight, Makeup Geek shadow in Corrupt used as brow powder, Sydney Grace shadows on the eyes, Inglot black gel liner, mascara, Ardell faux mink lashes in no854, and ColourPop lip liner in LBB applied in an ombré effect topped with Morphe lip gloss in Freestyle.
I totally forgot to take a picture with Miss N looking down, but at least there's this side-by-side that we can admire. I did get some good news that she signed a model release, so I've got one FIRE image to share with everyone. I seriously am obsessed with this image. These photographers are SO good at their jobs.
