Miss M is originally from the Knoxville area but moved to Middle TN and found Kristen Fonville through a Facebook ad. If you haven't heard of Kristen or seen any of her work, she's a boudoir photographer based in Ashland City and I'm obsessed with her stuff. She's a great human and I'm glad to be working with her clients doing their hair and makeup. Miss M has never done anything like this before and wanted to book a session as a surprise for her fiancé. She's getting married in October and I'm a little jealous that this is the "thing" to do as a wedding present. It wasn't popular when I got married back in 2011.
Here are the makeup products I used for Miss M's natural look. And fun fact -- she requested that I used her lipstick for the photo shoot because it'll be the lipstick she wears on her wedding day. I put it on her and can I just saw how SHOOKETH I was at the pigment and the perfectly pinky natural color it gave. And it was a Huda Beauty product. I haven't always been impressed by Huda, but I bought like 5 of these. And it was a happy coincidence because the day after Miss M's shoot was "National Lipstick Day" so Huda had a big sale going on. Lucky me, huh?!
Products used:
Charlotte Tilbury airbrush foundation in 5.5 cool, Elf hydrating camo concealer in Light Beige, Maybelline FitMe powder to set, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Morphe warm blush palette, ABH x Amrezy highlight, Morphe brow pencil in Hazelnut, ColourPop Wild Nothing palette on the eyes, also used the dark brown shadow from that palette as the liner, Essence mascara, Kiss Shy lashes, and ColourPop lip liner in Skimpy topped with Huda Beauty cream lipstick in Angel.
Miss M has decided to keep her images private and no one should ever feel pressured to sign one. It's your call to make that decision. It's just always a perk when we do get to share a few images with the online world. But I did get the green light for me to post these makeup pictures.
