Miss J

Miss J drove in from the east side of Nashville to see Kristen Fonville in her boudoir studio in Ashland City back earlier this month. I always love working with Kristen because she's got every type of client to walk through her doors. They can be young (over 21 of course), older, pale skin, darker skin, sun damaged skin, and really everything you can think of. Not only do I get to practice on all skin tones, textures, and such, but I get to know all of their life stories too. Miss J was pretty cool to get to know in the hair and makeup chair. She got married back in July and booked as a surprise (and belated) wedding gift. I love the idea of giving your partner these images as a night before the wedding thing because I would've thought "there's no point" to do them afterwards. But like, why not, right?! You can do them whenever the h-e-l-l you want to.

Below are the makeup products I used to get Miss J's makeup look. And I curled her hair using a flat iron for that wave type of look.

Products used:

Nars radiant longwear foundation in Sahel, ColourPop pretty fresh concealer in Light45W, Makeup Revolution Luxury Baking Powder in Banana, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Georgia Peach, ABH x Amrezy highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Cool Cocoa, Sydney Grace shadows on the eyes, Inglot black gel liner, random mascara, Ardell faux mink lashes in no854, and ColourPop lip liner in Bitchette topped with ColourPop luxe matte lipstick in Liquid Courage.

I was really hoping that I would get good news from Kristen that Miss J signed a model release... and she did! I really just wanted to show off her makeup and hair. I'm literally obsessed with dark hair and a glam makeup look like this. Makes me wanna dye my hair this dark too!
