Miss D

Updated: Mar 2, 2020

Miss D came in to see Kristen Fonville for her very first boudoir photo shoot towards the end of December. She lives in the area-ish so it wasn't hard to find the studio. Something fun about Miss D is that she recently up and moved across the country for her dream job and I love the adventure aspect of that. Not sure I could really do it in real life, but I guess we'll have to live vicariously through Miss D and all the newness that awaits her. She decided to come back home to have this shoot as a present for herself. You go, girl!!

These are the makeup products I used to get her gorgeous "after" look as you'll see below. I try to list them out in case anyone wants to try and recreate it themselves. Why not, right?!

Products used:

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation in 5.5, ColourPop no filter concealer in Medium 22, RCMA no color powder to set, Mac Harmony to bronzer, Mac Melba blush, Mac Soft & Gentle highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Light Brown, Sydney Grace shadows in Concrete Road, Antique Coin, and Midnight, mascara, Kiss Poised lashes, and Morphe lip liner in Chippy topped with Morphe gloss in Boho.

I found out today that Miss D did not want to share her images and both Kristen and I are A-okay with that. It's completely her call and we can't be mad about that. I'm just happy that I'm at least able to show off her hair and makeup that we did that day.

**EDIT** - Kristen let me know today that Miss D came back and decided to go ahead and release some of her images out into the interwebs. I totally get it when some ladies literally have to decline due to their jobs, for example, but if you've got the chance to be a boudoir inspiration to others, why the heck not, right?!
