Megan planned her winter wedding earlier this year and she found me through another vendor. We messaged each other and set up a trial run back in December. And if we're talking technicalities, she planned the trial run on this specific date in December because that was their official "We're getting married!" date at the courthouse and they planned a ceremony with friends in February. Her fiancé is in the military and his schedule can shift abruptly at times. They originally had the wedding set in March, but his schedule changed. They had another date, but had to cancel that one too. So rather than take anymore new dates at chance, they planned the courthouse vows in December and if February worked in their favor, they would do the big shebang then. And luckily, it did work for them and we got to do hair and makeup for Megan and her ladies in February.

Temptu s/b airbrush in no 3 (although, on the wedding day, we went slightly lighter), ColourPop pretty fresh concealer in Light33C, Laura Mercier translucent powder to set, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Peaches & Cream and highlight in Rhythm, Morphe brow pencil in Biscotti, Sydney Grace shadows on the eyes, Inglot black gel liner, mascara, Kiss no11 lashes, and ColourPop lip liner in Obvi topped with Morphe matte lipstick in Wifey.
And for her hairstyle, I curled it with a standard size Nume wand, but just the top couple of teased layers and the front pieces. I pin-curled pieces into a half up, twisted the rest from the left to the right, pinned some more, twisted up other side, then pinned back the front pieces. I added a gorgeous hair piece from Etsy on top and in the center like a headband.
If you've read any of my last wedding-related posts, I have been terrible at following up with past clients and their wedding photos. A bride isn't ever required to share any photos with anyone, but I'm always appreciative when they share them with me because that just means I get to show off the hair and makeup we did for their party.
