Laiken + Jake

Laiken and Jake have just about the cutest love story ever. They have known each other since preschool -- FREAKIN PRESCHOOL -- and while they haven't remained the closest of friends for those entire years, they reconnected again in high school. I don't know every detail since doing Laiken's hair and makeup trial was the first time that I met her, but from what she told me, I feel like Laiken and Jake were seriously destined to be together.

She came ready with some hair and makeup inspiration pictures and I knew I could execute them perfectly for her. Here is a list of the products I used below. And for hair, she wanted a classic half-up style with lots of juicy twists. For those of you that see these kinds of styles with juicy twists or fat braids all over Pinterest, this is me telling you that you should look into getting extensions. Whether you get clip-ins, tape-ins, beaded wefts or whatever, those styles definitely require extra hair. Laiken had extensions and let me tell you, EEEEEEEEEK, I was blown away with how her hair turned out.

Products used:

Temptu perfect canvas airbrush foundation in no2, Elf hydrating camo concealer in Fair Warm and Light Beige slightly mixed, ColourPop translucent powder, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Peaches and Cream, Kylie highlight, Morphe brow pencil in Biscotti, ABH Modern Renaissance palette on the eyes (light pink, light warm brown and dark brown), no liner, mascara on the bottom only, and Rimmel lip liner in Addiction topped with Morphe matte lipstick in Wifey

And I know I took a few wedding day photos of the hair and makeup I did then, but I can't find them at the moment on my phone. But here are some professional shots from the photographer.
