Kristina

I met Kristina through a hair and makeup agency, The Glam Girls, and we did a trial run back in October. Since then, I'm pretty sure The Glam Girls are now called Nashville Makeup and Hair -- or at least that's how they're Instagram handle reads. Kristina and Zack are getting married in March on their 8 year anniversary, which is super cute, and didn't know where to start with hiring a beauty team. And agency like this sounds like a good idea in theory, but it almost never works out. Just a fore warning for future brides thinking about it.

These are the makeup products below that I used to get Kristina's glam bridal look. I get requests for more natural looks all the time, so it was FUN doing something like this!!

Products used:

Temptu s/b airbrush foundation in no4, ColourPop no filter concealer in Light 18, RCMA no color powder to set, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette (also used lightest color down the entire neck and collarbone), Mac Peaches blush, ABH Amrezy highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Honey Blonde, ABH Pink Champagne shadow on the inner lids, Makeup Geek shadow in Shimma Shimma in the inner corners, Creme Brulee in the case, a rando taupe color in the detailed crease, Americana in the outer corners, taupe along lower lash line, Inglot #77 black gel liner with a hella sharp and long liner, mascara, Kiss Flirty lashes, and NYX lip liner in Cherry Skies topped with ColourPop lipstick in Pencil Me In.

Kristina let me know that she decided to go another route with hair and makeup. Not anything to do with my artistry, but because of the company that she hired me through -- The Glam Girls -- and how shitty they were with communication. This was my first time working with this particular team and several other local artists thought they were a scam, meaning they were a fake team who books a bride, secures her money for the wedding, and then never shows up. Essentially, they're stealing money. I was leery working with them, but after the fun we had with this trial, I just did my thing, and thought it was no big deal. So I thought this coming Sunday for the wedding day was good to go, but when I checked with Kristina, she said she had to cancel and decided to have a family friend do hair and makeup to make things cheaper. Totally get it and I completely wish her and Zack nothing but the best.
