I met Katelyn through a mutual photographer friend. I have done her hair and makeup once before, but it was on a more dramatic level. This time around, she hired me for wedding day hair and makeup so we toned things down a bit. And funny story about how I met her fiancé, Katie... I was working a wedding for an artist friend of mine and I hear Katie talking about having to postpone her Scottish destination wedding and how it was going to be at a castle (heard this same story from Katelyn), so I immediately asked her what her fiancé's name was. And it was Katelyn! Like what are the actual odds of that happening?!
Products used:
Nars radiant longwear foundation in Gobi, Elf hydrating camo concealer in Fair Warm, Maybelline FitMe translucent powder, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Peaches & Cream, Benefit Cookie highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Bronde Moment, ABH Soft Glam palette on the eyes with Mac vanilla pigment on the lids with a winged shadow, KVD super pomade in Graphite with baby wing, mascara, Kiss no11 lashes cut in half, and Julia’s Place liner topped with Juvia’s Place lipstick in Mauve Moment
We decided on the wedding day to cut the lash band making them a half-lash. And she also changed up the hair just a smidge, so the wedding day photos will be slightly different than what you see below in her trial photos.
Also, I had Brie working with me and she did hair and makeup for Katie and her group of ladies while I did hair and makeup for Katelyn and her group of ladies. They wanted to keep the groups separate on the wedding day so they wouldn't see each other.

Here are some of the hair and makeups that I did on the wedding day. I did not snag another photo of Katelyn since I have her trial photos above, but we kept things the same.

I reached out to several past brides of mine to see if I could share a few of their wedding photos and Katelyn was so sweet to give me permission. I have been SO behind with posting any wedding photos from this year and I'm catching up. We might just see several more coming soon.
Alsooo -- Seeing as LOVE IS LOVE IS LOVE, it was only fitting that there was a Drag n Brunch happening downstairs while we were getting ready. Two of the performers came upstairs to say hi to both ladies and it was such a vibe! I think we all needed that pep in our step to get these two married and I loved being a small part of their day.
