Jen found me on The Knot when she was looking for all of her wedding vendors. She took a minute to decide whether she wanted to hire me and she felt more comfortable scheduling a trial before booking me for the wedding day. I don't usually do things that way, but I gave her the option since she was super hesitant. We did a trial in March for her May wedding last year. Below is a list of the makeup products we used in case anyone is curious about that kind of thing.
Products used:
Nars radiant longwear foundation in Gobi and Oslo custom mixed, also used Oslo as concealer, Maybelline FitMe translucent powder, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Mauve Moment and highlight in Golden Wonder, Morphe brow pencil in Biscotti, ABH Modern Renaissance palette on the eyes, KVD super pomade in Graphite with wing, mascara, used Kiss Sequin lashes but wants the Shy style instead, and ColourPop lip liner in Skimpy topped with Maybelline lifter gloss in Moon.
Jen wasn't 100% happy with her first trial run, so I offered to do another one for free. We changed the makeup up a little bit so it didn't feel so heavy and she also added extensions in the hair. Below is a list of the new products I used for her.
Products used:
Temptu s/b airbrush no1&3 mixed, Elf hydrating camo concealer in Fair Warm, Maybelline FitMe powder only in the tzone, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Morphe warm blush palette, Benefit Cookie highlight, barely any Morphe brow pencil in Hazelnut, ColourPop Bare Necessities palette on the eyes (vanilla shimmer and light/medium brown in crease and corners) and used Cookie in inner corners, KVD super pomade in Graphite as the winged liner, Kiss individual cluster lashes (2 medium and 2-3 short and don’t go all the way in), then ColourPop lip liner in BFF topped with Mac Japanese Maple lipstick
I curled her hair using the biggest wand size in the set and fluffed up the hair with her extensions to make them appear fuller.
I emailed the photographer recently because I'm so behind with requesting wedding photos, but Cameron was super sweet and emailed a few over almost immediately. I love all the beautiful colors in these photos and Jen made such a gorgeous bride! I wish nothing but the best for Jen and David!
