Grace found me online when searching for her wedding vendors last year. She wanted to hire specific vendors that aligned with her own values since she was having a same-sex wedding and it's never a good feeling when you hire someone and you find out they are strongly opposed to something like that. I've heard the horror stories before. Anywho, Grace lives near me as well, so when we set up a date for her trial run, it was a super easy thing to schedule. I found out that she met her fiancé, Maddie, on Bumble, and I swear I hear more and more success stories on dating apps like Bumble. I met my own partner back in 2007 and dating apps were not really a thing then. So I can't really imagine what it would be like dating in a world with dating apps and knowing there are some definite creeps out there. Saying that, I'm really happy that Grace and Maddie were able to find each other!

And as far as her hair goes, we curled her hair using a fat barrel and gave it a wave, not a curl. I then brushed it out heavily because she likes it way more relaxed than the trial picture I have below. So on the wedding day, I'll have these notes to remind me to make it way more relaxed. And she didn't want any volume or teasing aside from a little at the crown to act as an anchor for her veil.
