Ellie with Empowered Beauty Boudoir is a newer boudoir face to the Nashville area. She and her husband (and puppers too!) moved down from Michigan in early 2019 and has been building up her clientele here. She brought in a cool client, Miss A, in early December for her very first boudoir photo shoot. I don't remember how exactly she found Ellie aside from a Google search, but she drove up from a different state and stepped outside of her comfort zone. She booked the session as a surprise for her soon-to-be hubby. I know his face is going to drop when he sees the final images.
Here is a list of makeup products that I used for Miss A's look in case anyone is curious about that kind of thing. We went more on the natural-ish side which is perfect for this kind of thing. It's like you want it to still feel like yourself when you don't normally wear makeup ever. And then I curled her hair using a flat iron to give it more of a bend as opposed to a curl.
Nars radiant longwear foundation in Yukon, ColourPop pretty fresh concealer in Light33C, Laura Mercier translucent powder to set, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Mauve Moment, Morphe brow pencil in Latte, ABH Soft Glam palette on the eyes, Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Demolition, mascara, Kiss Couture lashes in Chiffon, and ColourPop lip liner in BFF topped with Maybelline lifter gloss in Moon
And even though Miss A decided not to sign a model release -- aka, Ellie won't be sharing any of her images with the outside world for marketing purposes -- she did give permission for me to share her before-and-after pics that show off her hair and makeup.
