Dylan is a bride who found me through the wedding planning platform, The Knot. She only needed services for herself and I don't normally book a bride-only session, but with Covid happening right now, my September is hella slow. So I decided to take her on as a client. Dylan met Devon through work and it was almost a love-at-first-sight kind of moment or at least it was definitely a like-at-first-sight moment. I could tell right away that we were going to click well because our conversation was super easy. I know the hair and makeup skills on my end is a very important thing, but it's also important to gel with that person as well.
Anywho, here's a list of makeup products that I used on Dylan in case anyone wants that information. I like to keep it handy somewhere -- and this place is as good as any -- just in case the bride comes back asking what I used. It also helps me remember what I used at the preview session in case there's a really long gap between that day and the wedding day.
Products used:
Temptu s/b airbrush foundation in no7, ColourPop pretty fresh concealer in Medium90W, Makeup Revolution Luxury Baking Powder in Banana, Benefit Hoola bronzer (with a tad bit of Toasted), ColourPop blush in Excuse My French, ABH x Amrezy highlight, Morphe brow pencil in Latte, Sydney Grace shadows on the eyes, Inglot black gel liner, mascara, Kiss 11 lashes, and Rimmel lip liner in Epic topped with Mac matte lippie in Velvet Teddy.
I always love a good before-and-after, so here's the hair and makeup from Dylan's preview session back at the end of July. And the wedding is set for mid September, so hopefully I'll have some pro images to share at the end of this post eventually.
Dylan emailed me with some wedding photos over the weekend and I'm delighted to share some with you all (whoever may be reading this, anyway).
