DaShanna found me online when searching for a wedding hair and makeup artist. We got to chatting via email and she decided she wanted to book with me. We did a trial run and I got to meet her sweet family that day too. She's known her now-husband, Josh, for a long time and it was one of those situations where they were best friends for a while and decided to take it to the next level and get married.
Products used:
Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless foundation in 2 neutral used as base and concealer, Maybelline FitMe translucent powder, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Morphe warm blush palette, Benefit Cookie highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Dope Taupe, Sydney Grace shadows on the eyes (light brown and cocoa bear in crease, light silver in middle of lids, Snow White on inner corners) topped with Elf glitter in Disco Queen, then dark brown and black in outer corners), KVD super pomade in Graphite as the liner, Essence mascara, Ardell 421 lashes, and ColourPop lip liner in LBB topped with ColourPop matte lipstick
Here are the makeups I did on the wedding day. And I had Jordan helping me out that day as well. Can’t wait to get some pictures back from the photographer!
As you can tell, she wanted a more "grunge" type of makeup vibe, so I adjusted the eye shadow to be more cool toned and we changed the hippie to this amazing taupe-gray-ish liquid lipstick that she already owned. It totally suits her!
I have been so behind with asking permission with sharing wedding photos from past brides, but I finally emailed DaShanna recently and she sent me a few screenshots from her social media page. I'm hoping to get some more, but I love the ones she sent me. Congrats to these two!!
