Chandler + Scott

Chandler reached out to me about doing her hair and makeup for her summer wedding this year. She found me through a previous co-worker that we both knew when we were at Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance. I did that friend's wedding and Chandler saw pictures and messaged me wanting to do her hair and makeup. I love it when word-of-mouth comes around full circle. We got ready at her friend's house in Bethpage (also where the ceremony took place) and it was this stunning house up on this massive hill. So the view was stunning and absolutely perfect for a wedding.

Here is a list of makeup I used for Chandler's wedding day look. It was a tiny bit challenging because when you have a client who loves to tan, there is usually lots of red still in the pigment of their skin. So color matching was an interesting thing that day. Haha. But I feel accomplished in the shade we chose and I think it all turned out beautifully.

Products used:

Temptu perfect canvas airbrush foundation in no13, Elf hydrating camo concealer in Tan Beige, Maybelline FitMe powder in Medium, Benefit Toasted bronzer, Morphe warm blush palette, ColourPop brow pencil in Bronde Moment, ColourPop Going Coconuts on the eyes, KVD super pomade in Walnut as the liner, mascara, Ardell naked lashes in no421, and a custom lip color.

Chandler wanted a super bohemian side braid with this twisty kind of hair vine and I'm literally obsessed with the final look. I also did hair and makeup on her three daughters, but I did not make note of what makeup I used on their faces. But just ask if you want to know and I'm sure I can figure it out.

I emailed Chandler recently to follow up with some wedding photos and she sent a few over with permission to post them. From what I remember, her photographer (as well as many, if not all, of her vendors) was a family friend. So I don't know their info to be able to tag them. But I've already messaged her to find out.
