I met Caroline literal years ago when I was hired to do makeup for one of her bestie's weddings. I guess she liked me enough to hire me for her wedding. Haha. She reached out just for makeup services again and didn't want anything too fancy, but nonetheless still bumped up from what her everyday vibe might feel like. We did our trail run back in March and you'll see those pics below. We were deciding on what lip color to use and I believe she went with the more neutral one when I saw her again on the wedding day.
Products used:
Nars radiant longwear foundation in Gobi and Yukon custom mixed used as base and concealer, Maybelline FitMe translucent powder, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Sydney Grace blush in Peaches & Cream, ColourPop super shock highlight in Flexitarian, Morphe brow pencil in Hazelnut verrrry lightly, Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette on the eyes (light brown in crease and outer corners and vanilla on lids) plus Mac Vanilla pigment on the lids too, KVD super pomade in Walnut with a wing, waterproof mascara, Kiss Shy lashes, and ColourPop lip liner in Skimpy topped with either Sandwash Pink or Beige 2
I took some wedding day "before-and-after" images as well to show off other makeups I did that day, so here those are. I really enjoy doing makeup for mamas. One trick I've learned over the years with anyone that has puffy or darker under eyes is to 1) never set that area with powder, 2) mix the tiniest bit of concealer with moisturizer, and 3) make sure that moisturizer is illuminated because it brightens up that area without adding a ton of product.
