Andi + Cody

Andi and Cody planned their wedding for late February this year and she reached out to me via Wedding Wire about my availability. Of course, February isn't a super popular month for weddings in Nashville, so I was open and I was happy we got the chance to work together. What I didn't know until we met and got to chatting was that she and her tribe are from Jacksonville, FL (if you didn't know, that's where I was born) and they're HUGE Seminoles fans (alsooo huge fans in my family). Like, what are the odds?! All the ladies (and one bridesman) were such fun hanging out with while we were doing hair and makeup. They had talked about getting married in FL, but her new job brought her to Nashville, so they thought this would be an awesome place to start off this great adventure.

I took notes of what makeup products I used in case anyone out in the inter-webs wants to try and recreate it at home or maybe it'll give you the inspiration to do it for your own wedding day. You never know who's reading this, right?

Products used:

MAC waterproof prolongwear foundation in NW25 used as base and concealer, RCMA no color powder to set, Benefit Hoola bronzer and California blush, ABH x Amrezy highlight, ColourPop brow boss pencil in Light Brown, Makeup Geek Shimma Shimma on the lids with Cocoa Bear in the crease and Espresso in outer corners, rando mascara, Ardell demi wispie lashes, and ColourPop lip liner in Oh Snap topped with Morphe lipstick in Whipped.

Here's a couple of bridesmaids' hair and makeup that I did as well. The other ladies were taken care of by my two other contracted artists, Lecia and Aubrey.

Hair and Makeup: Declan and Mae (with assists by Lecia and Aubrey)

I've been spying a little on Andi's Instagram page and I knew she had been posting some "sneak peek" photos, but I wasn't quite sure if the whole gallery was ready to view. So I reached out to Christine (the photographer) and she emailed back with the link almost immediately. I've worked weddings with Christine in the past and she's always SUPER fast with delivering her images and emailing the link to other vendors.

So get ready to be WOWED. I haven't had any weddings lately due to this pandemic, so I feel oddly overly excited to be posting images at this moment. Haha.

Alsoooo, I went back to the venue after the ceremony to change up her half-up hairstyle to a low bun. Did you know I offered that service as well? Luckily, her venue was like 10 minutes from my house so it wasn't a big deal. But reach out to me if that's something you're interested in doing for your big day!
