Amy + Josh

Amy and Josh were planning their wedding for the first weekend in November last year at Drakewood Farm in Goodlettsville. In case you're new to my site or this is your first time ready a blog post of mine, I'm a preferred vendor with that venue, so any time a bride is inquiring about other vendors, they provide a list for the clients to pick from. So Amy reached out to me and we set up a trial at the end of May.

Products used:

(Use Becca matte primer!) Temptu s/b airbrush foundation in no4&6 mixed, ColourPop no filter concealer in Medium 22, RCMA no color powder to set, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette, Mac Peaches blush and Soft & Gentle highlight, ColourPop dope taupe brow pencil, ABH Modern Renaissance palette on the eyes, Inglot #77 black gel liner, mascara, Kiss Shy lashes, and ColourPop luxe lipstick in Electric Feel.

I'm still unsure why these trial photos uploaded sideways -- my apologies -- but I hope you can still see the makeup look we tried out. I love this on her! We also did a trial on her hair, but she was unsure of it. Honestly, I was a little unsure myself. Amy had TONS of long and thick hair and with her wanting a low bun, it was hard to pin it all up and still look chic. All that hair's gotta go somewhere, right?

Amy decided after our trial that she was going to hire me for makeup only, no hard feelings, and she hired another team for her. She also got like 6 inches cut off, so I'm sure it was a little easier to style. Having two separate teams also helped with timing. Wedding day schedules can get crazy!

I got word from the photographer that photos were ready to view, so I've got a few to share with you guys! I'm friends with Amy on Facebook so I knew she had been sharing some sneak peek photos, and I've been patiently waiting to see more. Just wait!
