Amy + George

I haven't posted about this particular venue in a while, so I'm happy to be able to share about it again. Butterfly Hollow is a bed and breakfast in the Gordonsville area which is about an hour east of Nashville. I reached out to the owner, Dave, when I first started working weddings to see if I could be listed as a preferred vendor. Yes, he books the cabins for weekend getaways, but he also offers small wedding and elopement packages. It's tucked away in the woods, so much so that if you've never been, you've probably thought you were going to be murdered at any second. It's tucked away THAT far. But once you see the clearing and can see the beautiful property, all that fear of the unknown vanishes because it's a magical little spot in the woods. Dave gets tons of marriage inquiries and I'm honored to be considered for hair and makeup for those ladies. Amy reached out to me about doing her hair and makeup for her elopement in May this year. She and George are on their second marriages and wanted something super simple to celebrate the two of them. They're from Wisconsin but found Butterfly Hollow online when searching for places in the Nashville area. They travel down here often and knew it was the right place for them.

Below are the makeup products I used to get her look. And she wanted a half up hairstyle with "lots of volume" and I'm glad I could make that happen!

Products used:

Nars radiant longwear foundation in Gobi, ColourPop pretty fresh concealer in Light45W, RCMA no color powder to set, Benefit Hoola bronzer, ColourPop blush in My Sun and My Stars, Benefit Cookie highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Honey Blonde, ColourPop Bare Necessities palette on the eyes, Inglot #77 black gel liner, mascara, Ardell demi wispie falsies, and ColourPop lip liner in Beeper topped with Morphe cream lipstick in Hey Sugar.

I don't know why it took me so long to get pictures back from this newlywed. It wasn't on her part, I just didn't remember to ask her until, um, 5 months later. Oopsies. I do remember helping her in her dress and the belt she paired with it. Just wait a minute, you'll love it as much as me.

And here's some vendor info as well.
