The only prom beauty I'll ever do
I know you probably don't see this side of things unless you work in the beauty industry, but you learn to work with all different types of client personalities. I always thought before getting into the wedding biz that I would have handfuls upon handfuls of bridezillas. And they do occur, but in my almost 8 years of working (really, 4 years working weddings) I've only had MAYBE two bridezillas. They were also tag-teaming with their moms, so you know I came home with all sorts of stress headaches. I used to do prom services but they were honestly SO MUCH WORSE than any bridezilla I've ever come into contact with and that's saying a lot. So in the past 2 years or thereabouts, I've refused to even mention prom services. I don't wanna deal and YOU CAN'T make me! Lol.
The one gal that I will do prom hair and makeup on is my gorgeous sister-in-law, Jessica. She had prom tonight and went with one of her besties. They got ready at my house, we took a few pictures on the front porch, then they left to take more professional pictures at Opryland before heading to dinner. So I'm really hoping to see some of those pro pics later on. I did hair and makeup on Jessica and these are the products we used. She's also been on a long journey of natural hair love using curling products and training her hair, essentially, to be pretty at its natural state. But we broke that tonight because I curled her hair using a hot tool. Day 1 starts tomorrow!

Giorgio Armani Power Fabric matte foundation in no5, ColourPop no filter foundation in Medium22, Makeup Revolution Luxury Baking Powder in Banana, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette, Mac Peaches blush, ABH Amrezy highlight, Colourpop brow pencil in dope taupe, Pretty Vulgar Nightingale palette on the eyes (pretty basic, but that's the look we were going for) with Stila Kitten Karma glitter & glow liquid shadow on the lids and a little bit of MUFE Starlit powder in the inner corners, Inglot #77 black gel liner, mascara, House of Lashes Vixen falsies, and ColourPop liquid lipstick in Saigon.
