Miss C

Miss C came into the boudoir studio of Kristen Fonville for her first photo shoot a little over a month ago. You could tell from the get-go that she was a fun person and didn't mind being a little adventurous with something like this. She booked the photo shoot for her husband as an anniversary/birthday present and he has no clue about it. I'm sure he does now considering I'm posting here. Haha. But she was great to get to know and chat with while doing hair and makeup.

Below are the makeup products I used to get her look and I curled her hair using a 1 inch flat iron, giving her what I call my "flirty curl". Really all that means is that I leave the last inch or so of hair out of the curling method with the flat iron and it makes it stick out some. Pulling the curl all the way through with shorter hair will make it look like Shirley Temple real quick and nobody wants that.

Products used:

Mac prolongwear foundation in nw20, ColourPop no filter concealer in Fair08, RCMA no color powder to set, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette, NYX Sweet Cheeks blush palette, Mac Lightscapade highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Champagne Blonde, ColourPop You Had Me At Hello eye shadow palette on the eyes, Inglot #77 black gel liner in top and Melt Lamia liner on bottom smoked out with purple shadow from same palette, mascara, Kiss Pompadour lashes, and Morphe lip liner in Chipper topped with ColourPop gloss in Fairy Dust.

I got word from Kristen that Miss C has signed a model release and gave permission for me to post some of the images in my portfolio. Yayyy!
