Christie + Donnie

Christie reached out to me because her fiance, Donnie, is related to the family that owns the venue, Briar Rose Hill, in Bethpage. They referred Christie to me and that's how we connected. She lives out of state and was only going to be in town a certain time for a trial run, so we met at her future MIL's house in Hendersonville and I'll post the products used and pictures of the trial.

Products used:

Moisturizer primer, Temptu s/b airbrush foundation no1 mixed with a tiny bit of no3, ColourPop no filter concealer in Fair08, RCMA no color powder to set, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette, NYX Sweet Cheeks blush palette (the left pinks), Mac Lightscapade highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Champagne Blonde (just a tad to define), ABH Modern Renaissance palette on the eyes (bottom left in crease, taupe on lower lash line, dark brown in outer crease) as well as Mac Vanilla pigment on the lids, Inglot #77 black gel liner in a wing, mascara, Kiss Shy lashes, and ColourPop matte liquid lippie in Bumble.

Hair had about two inches of bangs on both sides left out to the side. Teased all the rest with some texture. Pulled it all into a low bun. Separated into three sections and tied with the small rubber bands before pinning. The front pieces were curled with flat iron and kept the twists in view. These were just notes on how I did the hair. Thought they'd be handy for anyone else who might want a similar style.

On the wedding day, Christie wanted to change up the front pieces just a smidge and it was beautiful either way! I can't wait to get back some wedding photos to show you guys. We also did a more "dramatic" lip in the pictures below -- the day she did her bridal portraits -- but we went with something a little lighter on the wedding day.

Congrats to Christie and Donnie and I'm glad I was a part of your wedding day at the end of May this year!!
