Miss R came into Kristen Fonville's studio for her first boudoir photo shoot a week or two ago. As a makeup artist, I talk though a lot of the steps as I'm doing them in case you are very adamant about things (ie, don't fill my brows or natural eye makeup, etc.) and Miss R was just easy-breezy about the whole thing. She said she was never a girl growing up who was picky about her face like some girls are needing to have all the top-dollar products on display. I mainly want to ask because I can go HAM on a smoky eye if that's your jam, but if it's not, there's definitely a natural way to achieve it. So I gave Miss R somewhere in between. We did more of a classic smoky eye but stayed away from the dark colors so it wouldn't be too overwhelming.
I know some ladies want makeup info and others could care less, so I just list it anyway, just in case you are one of those that do want it. Below is the breakdown of what I used to complete the look.
Products used: Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation in Ecru, ColourPop no filter concealer in Light 12, RCMA no color powder to set, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette, NYX sweet cheeks blush palette, Mac Lightscapade highlight, ABH Medium Brown brow wiz, Natasha Denona Gold palette on the eyes, black liner and mascara, Kiss Poised lashes and Kat von D liquid lipstick in Lolita II.
And as of today, Kristen emailed me a few images after Miss R signed a model release. I'm stoked about these photos!!
