I know I say it a bajillion times, but I truly love what I do. Meeting women and learning about their lives, struggles and joys, all the while doing their hair and makeup bonds us on another level. Miss J came in early this month for her first photo shoot and I could already see all these possibilities for different techniques on her eyes. I knew any colors would make them truly pop. If you're ever stuck on a color to use and don't want to do your everyday-basic, try a plum. Honestly, it's a color that works with all eye colors, all skin tones and can give you some drama without getting too heavy like black does sometimes. I used a plum on Miss J and it turned out exactly how I envisioned it. Perfection!

ColourPop no filter foundation in Light 50 used as base and concealer, RCMA no color powder to set, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette, NYX Sweet Cheeks blush palette, Mac Soft & Gentle highlight, ABH brow wiz in Medium Brown, Lime Crime Venus XL palette on the eyes, black liner, mascara, Kiss Flirty lashes and Mac Stone lip liner topped with ColourPop gloss in Curvii.
