Lauren + Joey
I met Lauren through her wedding planner, Ashley, with Silver Celebrations. Ashley and I are friends and have worked several weddings and styled photo shoots together in the past and she referred me to Lauren. So sweet of her, right?! Lauren was being a good planner and tried to get all of her vendors squared away as much in advance as possible. My kind of girl. Haha. Lauren wanted to book a hair and makeup trial with me so we set it up in December last year. I had to make sure to note everything we did for her wedding in October so I'd remember. Mama's brain can't remember 10 months later. I didn't use to make notes when I first started working weddings, but would take pictures still, and I would basically have to "fake it til you make it" kind of thought process when I'd see them again. I was too stressed for that, so I started taking notes too.

Temptu s/b airbrush foundation no1 with a tad no3 mixed, ColourPop no filter concealer in Fair08, RCMA no color powder to set, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette (light one only), NYX Sweet Cheeks blush palette (2 pinks on left mixed), Mac Lightscapade highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Bangin Brunette, Mac Soft Ochre paint pot, ABH Modern Renaissance palette on the eyes (light orange/tan in crease and taupe in outer corners and lower lash line) and ColourPop light gold from Good Sport palette and light vanilla from You Had Me At Hello palette, Inglot #77 black gel liner on top and Mac Coffee liner in lower lash line, mascara, Kiss individual bundle lashes, and ColourPop luxe lippies in Lust and Wifey mixed. For her hair, we curled all of hair with a 1" flat iron. I teased every section and pulled back the half-up style with twisty pieces on the sides.
I absolutely love that Lauren wanted a little glam in her wedding makeup look. And the darker lips were just the icing in the cake. I can't wait to see some wedding photos!!
