Laura + Alex

I met Laura through her venue, Loveless Events, as I'm listed as a preferred vendor on their website. Somehow I completely forgot about it because when she called me about doing hair and makeup for the wedding, it totally slipped my mind. But after she refreshed my memory, it all came back to me. While it's not "wedding season", I'll reach out to different venues and/or vendors about possibly becoming a preferred vendor in case their clients need my services. And the reason I had forgotten about Loveless was that it was probably 2 years ago that I last emailed them. So in this case, it's totally rad that I'm still on that list!

Anywho, I'm guessing Laura liked my work because after reviewing my portfolio and pricing, she wanted to book my services. We did a trial run of just makeup and we went with a natural bronze eye look with a deepish red lip. I LOOOVE a gal who isn't afraid of a red lip, any shade of red.

Temptu s/b airbrush foundation no6, Nars radiant creamy concealer in Custard and Biscuit mixed, Makeup Revolution Luxury Baking Powder in Banana, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette, Becca blush in Dahlia and highlights mixed in Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop, ColourPop brow boss pencil in Dark Brown (applied very lightly), ColourPop You Had Me At Hello eye shadow palette on the eyes (two light brown crease colors mixed, white in inner corners, light gold on beginning lid, bronze in center lid, and dark brown in outer corners), Inglot #77 black gel liner, mascara, Kiss Shy lashes, and Real Her liquid lipstick in Lady Love.

Here's some wedding day photos of both moms' makeups. We also decided to make Laura's lip color a little darker in case you were wondering why they looked a little different.
