Sarah + Michael

I got an inquiry from Sarah a few months back for hair and makeup for her wedding last month. Her photographer, Ace Photography, referred me and we connected that way. Seeeeeeee? All those emails I send out during "down time" works out well because now I've got a good relationship with that team and we work together often.

Another connection I had with Sarah and was probably the real reason she reached out to me was that I work a lot with Kristen Fonville doing hair and makeup for her boudoir photography. Sarah had a session set up with her, although I think it might have been canceled/rescheduled now, and after seeing my work, she wanted to book me for her wedding. Nashville is a big SMALL city if you think of it that way. We all know each other and everyone shops/refers/seeks out local artists.

Sarah had a small wedding at Drakewood in Goodlettsville and set it up on a Tuesday. I know it was an odd date, but it was a special date to her and I think it was great! I did hair and makeup for her as well as her adorable daughter. They live in Portland but decided to get a hotel closer to the venue so that it would be an easy thing on the wedding day. So we got ready there and finished up at the farm. I had so much fun! And Ace posted their wedding photos on Facebook today, so duhhh, I'm going to post them here too :-)
