Ashley + Josh

Thinking back, I'm not quite sure how Ashley got in touch with me. Although, as I'm typing this, it came to mind that I believe she was a referral from the photographer. Makes sense now. Lol. Regardless, we met about a month before the wedding to trial her hair and makeup look. Ashley wanted a low, textured, "undone" kind of low bun. She and Josh were not having a wedding party since it was a more intimate ceremony in her parents' backyard. But, to treat her mom and soon-to-be sister-in-law and to make them feel special, she paid for them to have hair and makeup done as well. Super sweet, right?!

The trial went off without a hitch and I just know the wedding is going to be a magical event.

Products used:

Temptu s/b airbrush foundation no3, ColourPop no filter concealer in Light 14, RCMA no color powder to set, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer palette, NYX Sweet Cheeks blush palette, very little of Mac Soft & Gentle highlight, ColourPop dope taupe brow pencil, Tarte Tartelette pro palette on the eyes (all mattes), Elf black gel liner, mascara, Ardell Natural lashes, and Mac Whirl lip liner topped with Bobbi Brown lipstick in Brownie.

And here is a hair pic of the mom. I didn't take any pics of the other girls because one is a loose, curled, low bun and the other is a side braid with another braid coming from the other side.

And now that the trial run has been done, we're just waiting on the wedding day to get here. I'll post pictures once they're available. I seriously cannot wait knowing that there will be a backyard wonderland to drool over in those pics.

*EDIT* As of 9.28.18, some of the wedding photos have been posted on Facebook, so you better believe I saved them and have them below for your viewing pleasure.

Ashley decided to wear her hair half up/half down instead of the low bun that we trialed with. As you'll soon see, her dress is a very low back and she felt more comfortable with letting some of her hair loose. It wasn't a big deal to change it on the wedding day. Sometimes you have these visions of what your perfect version of the hair and makeup will be and it's hard to know 100% what's your pic without having the whole package complete. So we changed it up!

A huge congrats to the newly married couple, Ashley and Josh!!
