Caroline + Neko
From what I can remember, Caroline was referred to me and reached out through my contact form on my website. We set up a trial at my in-home studio and went from there! She was a super sweet and down to earth soul and I felt like we had a great connection! Is that weird to say? Lol. Oh well.
Sometimes, a bride doesn't need a trial, but other times it's good to have one if you're unsure of the look you're wanting for the wedding. Caroline first wanted a half-up hairstyle with braids sweeping from the sides to the back. She also started out with a more mauve lip and after seeing pictures after we finished the trial, she decided to change it up a bit. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that and it doesn't hurt my feelings if you want that.
Below are the makeup products we used
Temptu s/b airbrush no3, NYX pro hd concealer in Light, NYX pro contour palette, NYX pro blush palette in the natural rosy color, Mac highlight in Lightscapade, ColourPop boss babe brow pencil in Light Brown, Urban Decay naked basics on the eyes, Elf black gel liner, Ardell natural falsies, mascara, and Urban Decay comfort matte lipstick in Backtalk.
On the day of the wedding, she wanted warmer brown shadows on the eyes and a rose colored lip instead, so we changed that. I used warmer shadows from the ABH Modern Renaissance palette and Tom Ford lipstick in Blush Nude. But otherwise, the rest is the same! We also cleaned up the braids some from the trial. We tried out different placement for the braids so that's why they're a little messy in the trial.
