Caroline + Joe
Caroline is a client of mine set up through Eye Do Hair and Makeup and we scheduled a trial in January to try out a hair and makeup look for her April 28th wedding. Trials aren't always a necessity but this client was a little uncertain. She also had a little bit of a know-it-all mom who kept saying "I don't know anything about makeup, but....." so we tweaked her trial look a couple of times. So it's good for a test run sometimes!
Makeup products used:
Temptu airbrush base no2, NYX pro hd concealer in light and fair mixed, RCMA no color powder to set, Sephora bronzer, NYX ethereal blush, Mac lightscapade highlight, Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in taupe, originally used the gold shimmer shadow from the Modem Renaissance palette but changed to Mac vanilla pigment on the wedding day, and then used softer browns from the Urban Decay naked basics palette on the wedding day as well, still used Elf black gel liner, mascara, Ardell natural falsies, and finished with Mac whirl lip liner topped with Bobbi Brown lipstick in Sandwash Pink.
Caroline wanted to try gold on the eyes but after the trial was completed, she decided that it along with the darker browns was too much, so we changed to using the vanilla pigment instead with some lighter browns in the crease.
You never know if certain makeup looks or even certain colors will compliment other facial features, so while a trial isn't always a necessity, at times it just helps everything else fit into place for your big day.
Can't wait for the big day at the end of April!!
