ULTA haul

Jerry and I drove down to Florida last week to spend some time with his mom, brother and sister. It was such a relaxing week (aside from the rear-ending episode in Atlanta that delayed us getting to FL) and was so much fun just hanging out with family. Jerry's sister is a makeup addict like me and an aspiring makeup artist.

We went shopping at the mall one of the days and--whoopsies--I bought many things at Ulta. I wasn't planning on doing that, but I need to make a haul every now and then, right? RIGHT?! Right.

Here are all of the NYX products I bought.

And I also went home with the Urban Decay Moondust palette. It's not so much an everyday, always grab, kind of palette, but the sparkles and glitter make it worth while for me.

I also somehow stumbled upon a makeup table down at the Pier in Clearwater. It's an indie brand called Surreal Makeup and the owner, Amanda, sells her products mostly at trade shows and such. Her loose pigments and glitters were TO DIE FOR. We even went back a second night to take some pictures and ran into Amanda again. This time she had her lip glosses with her. OMG, the taste, the smell, the vegan ingredients, everything is what makeup companies should strive for. I just got 2 lip glosses this time since I spent so much on pigments the day before. Again, whoopies on shopping all last week. Lolz.
