14Tenn styled shoot
It's always fun to work a styled photo shoot or two during some of my down time. And since I've already taken my maternity leave, it was a great time to do a styled shoot before I won't have much consistent content to post come August and September. One of the vendors below reached out to me about working a shoot with them in July at a new-ish venue in The Nations part of Nashville called 14TENN. It's an old warehouse that they converted into an event venue and I love the whole feel of it. Personally, I'm not a barn-lovin' kind of gal -- even though they're beautiful -- but this space is right up my aesthetic alley. It's one big open space but can be split up between the ceremony and reception areas, it's got high ceilings, and you can really create whatever you want with it.
I came into this shoot doing hair and makeup for Traci. She's a local real estate agent and actually engaged to Dawson. Her wedding is set for early August, out of state, so this was a fun thing for her to do! I totally forgot to take any pictures of her hair and makeup that day, but I know there will be a couple that the photographer took. We went for a moodier makeup look after seeing that the color scheme had more plums to it, so I matched with that. And we went with a classic half-up hairstyle, which I'm completely obsessed with and framed her face quite beautifully.
